Vicky Ann Grant

Vicky Ann Grant, 53, of Kirksville, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond.

She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on Thursday, October 9, 1969 to the late Raymond Grant, Sr. and Betty Bullens Grant. She was a 1987 graduate of Madison Central High School, attended Clear Creek Bible College and worked as a Stock Clerk at Wal-Mart. Vicky loved attending Kirksville Baptist Church and loved teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She loved the Lord and studied her Bible. She enjoyed crafts, needlework, playing Bingo and going to yard sales. She wrote poetry and really loved her family and enjoyed all the family gatherings.

Survivors include three brothers, Alex Grant (Teresa), of Richmond, Raymond Grant, Jr. (Phyllis), of Berea and Randall Grant (Vickie), of Kirksville; four sisters, Doris Curtis (Kenny), of Lancaster, Carolyn Tarte (Craig), of Berea, Frances Lewis, of Berea and Linda Foley, of Kirksville; several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Grant and a special friend, Brenda Adams.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 AM Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Hisle and Bro. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Madison Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Russ Foley, Craig Tarte, Jr., DeWayne Lewis, Zachary Grant, Craig Tarte, Robert Riley and Randall Grant.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Janet Evans, Cathy Wilson, Stacy Foley, Janie Shoemaker, Samantha Grant, Amanda Grant, Kelli Grant and Brittany Walden. www.cpcfh.com
